What a week!

We had a week of all the feels, highs, lows, virtual workouts, virtual friend chats, virtual meetings, quick visits to the grocery store, and more… zoom. Everything that is going on around us, I’m noticing that more people seem are trying to be more connected than usual. I felt the need to reach out to everyone and let them know I’m here, along with my team of 9, the Greyback community etc. I’m saying this because Friday I was energetically drained. I had drained myself by forgetting about me, my needs and my personal self care. I have to take care of myself before I can take care of anyone else. Going into Friday evening and this past weekend, I reset myself. I have practiced virtual yoga every day, reflected, journaled, spent much more time meditating, and allowed myself to JUST BE. I set up my week so that I don’t give away all my energy during my 9-5 to my team. I can slow down during this time and give myself what I need so I can show up and be the best leader, friend, sister, daughter, quarantine house-mate every day. Practice not perfection continues to be my theme of the week.
