Feel alive, beautiful, and balanced every damn day, even the crazy ones.

Build in small moments of pause to help you slow down, clear your head, and feel the beauty of balance. Here are some of Alicia & Alissa’s top mini rituals for reconnecting to stay present and energized.

Morning

Wake up, light a candle, and write for 5 minutes

As soon as you get up, light a candle, make your favorite tea or coffee, grab your favorite blanket, cuddle up on the couch, set a timer for 10 minutes, and write. A blank page sometimes feels like a challenge, prompts from Healing Breath always inspire.

Afternoon

Take a real break with 5 mins of meditation

The next time you feel your energy lagging or mind going to less than helpful places, take 5 minutes midday to recharge your intentions for the day. We love guided meditations from insight, a free app you can choose meditations by time.

Use scent

Ohhhh it’s so powerful (you’ll learn why at our February social club). When your energy is slumping, it’s like you need to get ready for the day again. Have an essential oil at your desk or in your purse (peppermint halo and citrus bliss are two of our favs). Place a drop on pulse points (insides of wrists, temples, back of neck), and get to it.

Evening

The bedtime body oil massage: mahanarayan oil

Alicia learned about this warming oil during an ayurvedic massage, it’s a blend of oils and herbs that literally melts tension and inflammation off your body, and bonus- you sleep like a baby. It’s a strong earthy scent, we love mixing ½ mahanarayan oil and ½ sesame oil (another warming oil) in a pump jar.  Pre or post shower massage, use it all over and get deep where you typically hold stress, we promise your body will love you.

Expansive conversations

You know when you feel so energized after having a convo with that friend who always makes you feel like anything is possible? Who are those people for you? Previous bosses, those chicks you met from yoga camp or some event outside your normal social circle? If you don’t know any, sign up for some talks or events around things you’re interested in, start surrounding yourself with people who help expand your mind of what’s possible. It’s like getting a mental facial, you clear the lack thoughts of “I can’t” from your mind and leave feeling clearer than ever before.
